Google Fi is a simple, wireless phone plan with unlimited data.

Company Website: Google Fi

Breach size: >37 million 

Data Exposed: Phone numbers, SIM card serial numbers, date of account activation, account status, and mobile service plan details. 

A hacker breached T-Mobile’s network and obtained data from over 37 million customer accounts. Google Fi uses T-Mobile’s network for its connections, therefore the hacker was able to access data from Google Fi as well. 


People Connect 

People Connect is a popular website where people go to learn more about other individuals. 

More Than 1,000,000 Breached Graphic

Company Website: PeopleConnect 

Breach size: >20 million 

Data Exposed: Email address, names, phone numbers, new & old passwords, reset token of subscribers. 

A cybercriminal posted data from two websites owned by People Connect. The information was accessed through a backup file from 2019 and contained information from over 20 million subscribers. 


AT&T 

AT&T is a multinational telecommunications holding company.

Company Website: AT&T

Breach Size: >9 million 

Data Exposed: Customers’ wireless plan information and payment plan accounts. 

Data was compromised through a security flaw with a third-party customer service vendor. Over 9 million customers’ information was exposed and included data from their accounts and payment plans.

Heritage Provider Network 

Heritage Provider Network is one of the largest private healthcare organization networks in the US.

Company Website:Heritage Provider Network, Inc. 

Breach Size: > 3 million 

Data Exposed: Social Security Numbers, medical records, date of birth, driver’s license number, ID number, and more. 

Over 3 million customers were notified of a ransomware breach where hackers were able to access Heritage Provider Network’s database and obtain millions of people’s private medical records and sensitive information.  


Go Anywhere 

Go Anywhere is a secure managed file transfer (MFT) solution that allows organizations to securely automate the exchange of data with others.

Company Website: Go Anywhere

Breach Size: > 3 million 

>Data Exposed: Customer names and Social Security Numbers  able to obtain a 0-day exploit on the company’s GoAnywhere MFT file transfer tool. The hackers were able to obtain information using this to breach over 130 companies. We are still learning about companies that were affected today.
