Twitter is a social media site that connects people with short messages called tweets.

Breach Size: >200 million

Data Exposed: email address, name, username, follower count

In early 2023, over 200M records scraped from Twitter appeared on a popular hacking forum. The data was obtained sometime in 2021 by abusing an API that enabled email addresses to be resolved to Twitter profiles. The subsequent results were then composed into a corpus of data containing email addresses alongside public Twitter profile information including names, usernames, and follower counts.

Health care provider based in Dallas, TX.

Breach Size: >124,000

Data Exposed: name, addresses, DOB, SSN, treatment/diagnosis info, medication info

Files were exfiltrated from the network that contained names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, treatment or diagnosis information, and medication information.


Cricket Social

Cricket Social is a social media platform for individuals involved in the game of cricket.

Company Website: cricketsocial.com

Breach Size: > 100,000

Data Exposed: email, phone numbers, names, passwords, DOB, addresses

The Cricket Social database, hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the US, contained admin credentials and private customer data, including email, phone numbers, names, hashed user passwords, dates of birth, and addresses.

SAIF Corporation

SAIF Corporation is a worker’s compensation insurer located in Oregon.

Breach Size:  potentially>54,000

Data Exposed: SSN, DL#, financial account numbers, health insurance policy numbers, medical history

For SAIF policyholders, data may have included Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, and medical information about employees of policyholders. For claimants, the data may have included Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account numbers, health insurance policy numbers, and medical history information.


Nissan North America

Nissan is a widely known vehicle manufacturer.

Breach Size: 17,998

Data Exposed: full name, DOB, North American account numbers

The exposed data from Nissan North America includes full names, dates of birth, and NMAC account numbers (Nissan finance account). In addition, the notice clarifies that the exposed information did not include credit card details or social security numbers.


Five Guys

Five Guys is an American fast-food chain restaurant.

Company Website: fiveguys.com

Breach Size: >3,500 (total number still unknown)

Data Exposed: name, DL#, SSN, financial account information

Five Guys was able to determine that some of the compromised files contained sensitive information belonging to individuals who had previously applied for a job with them. While the breached information varies depending on the individual, it may include full name, Social Security number, driver’s license number, and financial account information
